A call blocker of some kind is already pre-installed in your phone, then why on earth would you need a call blocker? Well, if your call blocker could do everything this little app can do, we wouldn’t be wasting our time writing about it, would we?
Do you need it?
A phone basically connects you to the entire bunch of people who have your number. Do you always want to receive calls from everybody? No. But you can’t really switch off the phone completely and disconnect yourself from those people who matter to you. How about a filter that will allow you to receive calls from only the people you decide can call you when you are looking for some solitude?
How it works?
Create a ‘whitelist’ of important people from your phonebook with a couple of touches. If you turn on ‘whitelist only’ mode, only calls from the ‘whitelist’-ed people will get through and every other caller will be blocked out. Calls from those unwanted people will simply get hung up every time they try to contact you. Decide whether you want to be notified about blocked calls or you can see the list at your leisure when you feel like it. If you want to be nice about it, you can compose a personal SMS that will be sent automatically to the caller whose call got hung up. The ability to switch, as you please, between the ‘Whitelist only’ and ‘Accept all’ facilities provides you with the ultimate freedom to control your incoming calls. Spam calls get blocked by default and you can also add numbers to the ‘Blacklist’. Those numbers will be perpetually blocked.
