Fashion changes, but style endures.
When the epitome of the glamour industry, Coco Chanel quoted this, she wasn’t quite wrong. If you are one of those who are tired of rummaging through brands in search of some unique styles that define your true identity; we have something in store for you!
Avoire – the fashion, art and lifestyle store (1B Palm Place, Ballygunge Park Road) , has launched their summer collection with 16 designers from all over the country; a perfect answer to all your fashion woes. The curator of this vintage villa store, Sneha S. Saha, will walk you through the collection and help you find that stunning outfit you have had in your mind, carrying out the needed alterations and even customizing it to suit you colour preferences.
Pop Shop is keeping it subtle and trendy with brands like Doodlage, which uses up-cycled and deconstructed material, Geetika Saharia with her summery outfits in pastel shades and Blankslate, with its neutral shades and bright embroideries bringing your intangible thoughts to the realm of reality. For some heavier outfits for those special occasions, look for Darshika Seth and Jaanvi Mohta. Siyahi, has some indo-western tunics in silk-chanderi and handloom materials which can be styled as dresses too. Avoire for the first time has launched menswear collection by Micronesium, working with organic fabrics. While Gulal has the perfect gift items for your man. Anara, Disan, Nivriti, Kritika Sarawgi, Gripp Leather are the few other brands in the line-up. We have been eyeing Erito for its elegant Swarovski jewellery and Duet Luxury for their exquisite wooden clutches.
The pop shop will remain open for three days – 9th, 10th and 11th June’16. Drop in and work the trend!
