The climate is becoming weird day by day! You drink water and fill yourself all the way up, but still your thirst seems to be never ending. Still, despite the enormous change in weather, one thing surely hasn’t changed – watermelon is still as refreshing as always. So why not use this healthy and powerful body-healing fruit to keep yourself cool this summer?
The Magic Ingredients:
✓ 2 cups of watermelon pieces
✓ 2 spoons lemon juice
✓ ½ inch ginger
✓ 2-3 ice cubes
✓ 1 spoon honey (optional)
✓ Pinch of black salt
✓ ½ cup fresh mint leaves
✓ 1 spoon of soaked subza
✓ Put water melon, lemon juice, ginger, mint leaves, honey and salt in a blender/ mixer and mix until smooth. You can add a little water if you want lesser consistency.
✓ You can use seedless watermelon pieces or strain the juice after you mix it.
✓ Pour the mix in a serving glass.
✓ Make very small pieces of water melon and pour them in the glass. Add subza and ice cubes and stir lightly.
✓ Garnish with mint leaves, lemon wedges. Add a straw if you wish.
✓ Your watermelon cooler is ready to drink.
These ingredients are for 1 serving. Fun part is, even if you increase the quantity to serve more people, the preparation time won’t increase.
