What’s it about?
Imagine all the cushions that you can surround yourself with, low sofas where you can sit with stretched legs, the latest music charging the atmosphere, delicious food teasing your taste buds and good company. That’s what Cafe Bistro is all about.
Comfort is what this place is all about. Lounge, relax and let your inner king/queen of laziness out in this red and black themed joint. Cafe Bistro is a cozy little place on Sarat Bose Road with a character that leaves its mark on you from the minute you open the door. The walls are decorated with images of the musical legends and you can see yourself in the ceiling which is adorned with numerous circular mirrors and paper lamps. The low seating arrangement is very inviting and black circular slabs on the seats serve as tables. The music is a mix of a number of popular genres and if you are not a great fan of what’s playing, you can just plug your phone into the provided aux cable and enjoy your own playlist. Everything about this place gives out a homely feeling but with a touch of luxury.
What to eat?
The Manager, Mohit Prasad, says that “the menu is catered for youngsters.” With thin crust pizzas, pastas and a variety of scrumptious finger food, the menu is a certified youth attraction. He recommends the Spicy Minced Mutton pizza and the Cheese Sauce pasta. He also recommends the Virgin Mojito and if you enjoy experimentation, then you can ask the chef to add a little twist with jaljeera or chat masala.
What to do?
Devour your food, enjoy your hookah, sip on your drinks, get lost in the music, be entranced by the dim-lit atmosphere, charge your phone, work on your laptop, light up a cigarette, watch a cricket match, strike up a conversation or just surround yourself with cushions and be lazy. There is so much to do here, take your pick!
What to see?
The pictures on the walls are fascinating. There is a very interesting line-up of musicians and musical items on the walls and it is sure to hold your attention.
